SUMMARY:

To assist with the collection of reinsurance recoverables on various AGI accounts. Must have extensive environmental and toxic tort (long tail) experience. Direct claims handling experience and reinsurance experience (treaty and facultative) necessary. J.D. Preferred

JOB
RESPONSIBILITIES:
|
Responsible for creating, implementing and measuring the success of:
- Responding to all reinsurance inquiries
- Direct oversight and management of a collection team in New York
- Client interaction and marketing
- Management reporting
- Other projects and responsibilities may be added at the company's discretion.

QUALIFICATIONS:
|
- College Degree/J.D. Preferred
- CPCU and/or ARE
- 5-8 years of direct claims handling experience with a concentration on environmental and toxic tort claims
- 3-5 years of reinsurance-treaty and facultative
- Knowledgeable of environmental and toxic tort claims
- Basic knowledge of reinsurance-treaty and facultative
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Minimal Travel Required
