About the Position
Alan Gray LLC is an established insurance services firm headquartered in Downtown Boston. We are currently seeking a Claims Generalist to support our various insurance projects during peak claim periods.
Qualifications
- Commercial insurance experience or experience handling claims
- Writing Proficiency
- Experience with MS Access, Excel & Word
- Excellent customer service skills
Responsibilities
- Adjudicate and adjust CAT Claims.
- Identify coverage issues.
- Review, analyze and collect information from litigation and claim files maintained by insured’s, insurers, and/or outside counsel. Assignments typically involve commercial property, homeowners, asbestos, toxic tort, and environmental claims.
- Analyze loss estimated and expert reports.
- Assist in drafting reports to the client documenting the results of our review.
- Attend claims meetings.
- Develop subrogation possibilities to maximize recoveries
- Travel is frequent and is required approximately 35% of the time
