About the Position
Alan Gray LLC, a rapidly expanding international insurance and financial services firm headquartered in Boston, Massachusetts seeks an experienced MI No Fault Claims Adjuster with 3-5 years of experience for our expanding TPA practice.
Qualifications
- Previous workers’ comp experience is very important, especially with complex claims.
- Must be savvy with very complex medical claims and have excellent cost containment skills.
- Someone who is naturally suspicious, confident and quick to negotiate.
- 3-5 years of insurance adjusting experience.
- Strong Excel skills to gather, prepare and submit information to upload information to MCCA website – dealing with responses from MCCA.
- Effective communication skills required in working with attorneys.
- Strong organization skills.
- Licensed adjuster in Michigan.
Responsibilities
Administer claims of significant value. Adjuster must be able to navigate and negotiate between the claimant (and their doctors, counselors, etc.) and the Michigan Catastrophic Claims Association to confirm and agree to what is related to the claim, what is reasonable, what is necessary, etc.
