Workers’ Compensation Audit Manager

About the Position

We are currently seeking a dynamic claims professional to manage audits of Workers’ Comp claims. Knowledge of multiple jurisdictions is required. Experience with general liability claims would also be beneficial.


  • A minimum of 5 years of multi-jurisdictional Workers’ Comp claims handling experience
  • 1-2 years of related audit experience preferred.
  • Exceptional knowledge of general liability and Medicare Compliance.
  • FELA, Longshore or Jones’ Act claims experience a plus.
  • Proficient in report writing and delivering timely and focused reports to our clients.
  • Effective communication and negotiation skills.
  • Current adjuster licenses or insurance designations are a plus.
  • “Team player” with a professional demeanor and strong organizational skills.
  • Ability to work on and manage multiple assignments and claim audit projects.
  • Approximately 15% to 20% travel may be required.
  • Experience in GL or other lines would be a plus.


  • Audit Workers’ Comp compensation claims in multiple jurisdictions.
  • Prepare detailed reports of audit findings.
  • Manage other auditors working on projects.
  • Provide clients with advice on issues they are facing with their active claims as requested.
